A collectible is more than its title. Read the photographs and description together, and ask about anything that matters to your collection before ordering.

Separate the media from the packaging

For VHS and LaserDiscs, look for notes about the tape or disc and the case, sleeve or jacket separately. A clean cover does not establish the condition of the media inside. For posters and lobby cards, inspect the edges, corners, folds, surface and any noted marks.

Cosmetic condition and playback testing are different

A word such as mint or excellent describes the listing's stated condition; it is not, by itself, a record of a playback test. Where testing has been documented, use the stated scope and result. If the listing does not specify testing, contact us for confirmation rather than assuming it has been tested.

Check what is included

Confirm whether an edition includes an obi strip, inserts, booklets, original case or other materials. Do not assume accessories are included because another copy of the same release has them. Check the individual listing and photographs.
